Review: Recipes and Road Stories

Title: Recipes and Road Stories // by Hannah and Caroline Melby

Rating: 🎸🎸🎸.5/🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸 (3.5/5)

Summary (Courtesy of Goodreads)-A Remarkable Coming of Age Story About Two Young Girls Growing Into Womanhood on the Bluegrass Circuit.
By the time Hannah was in the 11th grade and Caroline was in the 7th grade, the Melby sisters were touring the country in bluegrass bands, with Hannah on fiddle and Caroline on mandolin. Today the sisters are the front persons of a very popular Nashville-based country music touring band named HanaLena.

What I liked: I really liked how personal this book felt. You can relate to the stories and it has a really warm, full-of-heart, Southern feel to it. I also like how it's a memoir and it's not 600 pages long. I really like the way it was composed, in a way that the authors took you on a sort of journey as you read. The person who's reading this book feels like they're a part of the girl's lives.
What I didn't like so much: I can honestly say that I don't have a bad thing so say about the book--maybe because it's a memoir, but I really enjoyed reading this! I'm normally a very critical eye when it comes to books but I think this book was so full of heart that I can't say anything bad about it.
So that's all, folks! I hope you enjoyed this review. You should definitely buy this book! A big thanks to Kelsey who gave me the opportunity to review the book.

Schedule ❤️

Hey guys! Jane here.
So I know I'm like 7 years behind with my reviews . I'm gonna get them done and I'm gonna try to get some other posts up so this blog isn't so dead and full of dust.
Saturday - What you should read this fall
Sunday - lil break
Monday- review (hopefully)
Tuesday- movies based off of books you should watch.

So that's what you might be seeing throughout the week! Please forgive me for the lack of reviews. I'm trying to read and draft reviews for the books and make them perfect before I blog.

Back at it

Hi everyone ❤️ just wanted to let you know that I'm really sorry for being so irresponsible to leave this blog hanging . I'm working on my priorities and I realize now that this blog and you guys should be one of them. I left this blog thinking that I wouldn't disappoint anyone because nobody reads my blog anyway. I think some messages in my inbox said otherwise .
I hope you all know that I love you all very much and I'm gonna try to get back on here
